About the Role
The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for driving revenue growth within our AT&T channel by selling Powerfleet’s telematics and fleet management solutions. In this quota-carrying role, you will work closely with AT&T sales teams to identify, develop, and close new opportunities, while providing expert product demonstrations and consultative selling that showcases the value of our solutions. You’ll be both a trusted advisor to prospects and a go-to resource for AT&T reps in your assigned region.
This role reports to the Sales Director, AT&T Channel – United States.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Execution & Customer Engagement
- Drive new business growth by managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing
- Conduct tailored online sales demonstrations and solution presentations
- Translate customer challenges into product-based solutions
- Deliver a high-touch, consultative sales experience to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Channel Partnership & Collaboration
- Partner with AT&T sales teams to generate leads and increase Powerfleet solution adoption
- Serve as a subject matter expert and go-to sales resource within the AT&T channel
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local AT&T carrier reps in your region
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities to maximize customer value
Internal Collaboration & Enablement
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams—including Implementation, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success—to support client onboarding and long-term satisfaction
- Provide customer feedback to internal stakeholders to improve product offerings and customer experience
- Stay up to date on Powerfleet’s latest products, features, and industry trends
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role, preferably in SaaS, wireless, or IoT
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to connect with customers across technical and business functions
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive, goal-oriented mindset
- Willingness to continuously grow your knowledge in telematics, M2M, and mobility solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with wireless carriers—AT&T experience highly preferred
- Background in fleet management, GPS tracking, or telematics solutions
- Familiarity with CRM systems and channel sales models
- Understanding of software sales methodologies and consultative selling
