About the Role
The Implementation Project Manager will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing support of Powerfleet’s wireless fleet management and asset tracking solutions. This is a customer-facing role that requires exceptional program leadership, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to deliver complex technical solutions in industrial environments. You will oversee multiple concurrent customer programs, ensuring on-time delivery, operational improvement, and customer satisfaction.
This is a remote role based in North America, with a preference for candidates located in the Eastern or Central time zones.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the full lifecycle implementation of technical products and services in industrial and enterprise environments.
Oversee multiple customer programs simultaneously, ensuring scope, timelines, budgets, and quality objectives are met.
Facilitate project initiation and closure, securing alignment and agreement from all stakeholders.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure long-term satisfaction and adoption.
Serve as the primary customer contact for program status, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.
Organize and conduct program status reviews, team meetings, and customer updates.
Maintain all project documentation and ensure clear, consistent communication internally and externally.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improving implementation efficiency while maintaining high service quality.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 6 years of experience leading full lifecycle, customer-facing program or project management in a technical environment.
Experience with Industrial Engineering or Warehouse Management Systems is a plus.
Strong ability to work independently, solve problems under pressure, and make sound decisions.
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Familiarity with software application/system implementation methodologies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project, Visio, Teams, and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
Experience collaborating with remote teams across multiple time zones.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Bilingual in Spanish and/or French-Canadian is a plus.
