About the Role
The Field Service Supervisor will oversee a newly created team responsible for delivering high-quality installations and technical support for IVMS, fatigue monitoring, Vision AI, AD+, and in-warehouse systems. This role ensures installation accuracy, consistency, and efficiency by providing real-time troubleshooting support, guiding technicians and contractors, and standardizing installation processes and documentation.
This position is central to improving installation quality, reducing variability, and strengthening capability across both internal teams and contractor partners.
Key Responsibilities[NG1]
Lead, coach, and support a high-performing team of field service technicians to ensure consistent execution and adherence to quality standards.
Allocate and schedule technicians across regions and projects based on priority, skill level, and installation complexity.
Act as the primary escalation point for technical challenges, offering hands-on troubleshooting support remotely and onsite when required.
Improve installation quality by developing and maintaining vehicle-specific installation guides, troubleshooting documentation, and best-practice standards.
Identify training needs and support capability building for both internal technicians and contractors across systems, tools, and installation processes.
Support the recruitment, onboarding, and development of new field service technicians as the team expands.
Model operational discipline, strong technical expertise, and a solutions-focused mindset to drive continuous improvement across field operations.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in field service, technical installations, or a related environment.
Strong technical background with hands-on installation experience, with the ability to independently manage complex installations and troubleshoot a wide range of equipment.
Proven experience in leading teams and managing performance, with exposure to P&L or cost management responsibilities.
Demonstrated experience coordinating multi-site or geographically dispersed teams, including internal technicians and third-party contractors.
Strong technical knowledge of Mix4000, Vision AI, AD+, and related installation workflows.
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, especially under pressure.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document processes clearly and concisely.
Ability to build trust, maintain strong working relationships, and reinforce quality expectations with technicians and contractors.
Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities across a fast-moving operational environment.
Take ownership of operational performance and cost efficiency, with accountability toward budget (P&L) considerations where applicable.
Coordinate and manage field service operations across multiple locations, ensuring optimal resource allocation and service delivery.
Lead and develop a team of technicians, reinforcing accountability, performance standards, and continuous improvement.
