About the Role:
We are looking for a Finance Analyst to ensure the accurate and complete recording, reconciliation, and processing of carrier revenue transactions. This hybrid role—three days per week in-office—is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, building scalable processes, and contributing to the financial integrity of a fast-paced organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile subscriber and billing data between Powerfleet systems and external channel partners to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Design and implement automated, scalable reconciliation processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Maintain and reconcile internal monthly subscriber and revenue reports
- Identify and flag discrepancies or billing opportunities through data analysis
- Follow and support escalation procedures with internal stakeholders and external partners, including senior leadership
- Calculate and post accounting entries including accruals, deferred COGS, and revenue-related journal entries
- Post and verify sales orders in the accounting system
- Support ad hoc reconciliation projects and Excel-based financial analysis
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance; experience in technology, software, or telecommunications industries is an asset
- Strong reconciliation experience with a focus on identifying data mismatches and root causes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced formulas
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP/accounting systems is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills with a track record of managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Process improvement mindset and critical thinking skills
