About the Role
Powerfleet is seeking a Senior Director, AI Transformation to help drive the adoption and business impact of AI across the enterprise. This role will work across functions including Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Product, Operations, Customer Success, and Technology to identify, prioritize, and advance high-value AI opportunities.
The Senior Director will serve as a key partner to the AI Transformation leadership, helping establish and execute the enterprise AI transformation roadmap, AI governance, and AI Center of Excellence (CoE). The role will connect business priorities with emerging AI capabilities, helping teams move from ideas and use cases to practical adoption and measurable outcomes.
This is a highly cross-functional, individual contributor role requiring strong business judgment, program leadership, communication, and the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise AI Transformation
Partner with business and functional leaders to identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI opportunities across Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Product, Operations, Customer Success, and Technology based on business value, feasibility, readiness, risk, and potential impact.
Build and maintain an enterprise portfolio of AI use cases and support the prioritization, sequencing, and execution of initiatives as part of Powerfleet’s broader AI transformation roadmap.
Help business teams move AI initiatives from ideas and experimentation toward adoption, scale, and measurable business outcomes, including opportunities leveraging AI, GenAI, agents, and intelligent automation.
AI Center of Excellence & Governance
Partner with AI Transformation leadership to establish and evolve Powerfleet’s AI Center of Excellence, including practical frameworks, playbooks, best practices, and knowledge-sharing mechanisms that accelerate responsible AI adoption.
Help develop and operationalize AI governance frameworks, standards, and processes, working with Technology, Security, Legal, Privacy, Risk, and business stakeholders to support responsible and scalable AI adoption.
AI Portfolio & Program Leadership
Lead coordination of major cross-functional AI transformation initiatives, establishing clear objectives, milestones, owners, dependencies, and outcomes while helping teams maintain execution momentum.
Establish metrics to track AI adoption, productivity, business impact, and value realization, and support executive reviews of AI initiatives, progress, risks, opportunities, and outcomes.
Help evaluate build-versus-buy opportunities and identify technologies, platforms, and strategic partners that can accelerate AI adoption.
Executive & Stakeholder Engagement
Prepare and present AI transformation strategies, roadmaps, use cases, recommendations, progress, and business outcomes to executive leadership and translate complex AI concepts and emerging technologies into practical business opportunities and facilitate decision-making across business, product, technology, and executive stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor to leaders across the organization on AI opportunities, adoption, transformation, and value realization.
AI Adoption & Change
Help establish an enterprise culture of responsible AI adoption and experimentation through communication, education, and enablement. Identify and scale successful AI use cases, patterns, and best practices across functions and geographies.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in technology, digital transformation, strategy, consulting, product, operations, or related disciplines, with meaningful experience working with AI or emerging technologies.
Strong understanding of AI, GenAI, automation, and emerging AI capabilities and their practical business applications.
Experience identifying, evaluating, prioritizing, and executing technology or AI use cases based on business value and feasibility.
Experience developing executive-level presentations, recommendations, roadmaps, and business cases.
Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI, data privacy, security, and enterprise technology considerations.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
The annual salary range for this full-time position is [UPDATE RANGE] USD. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
