About the Role
A Senior Credit Controller is responsible for leading credit control activities to ensure timely collection of receivables, minimize bad debt, and support healthy cash flow.
Key Responsibilities
· Cash Collections & Maintaining AGE Analysis (Healthy DSOs)
· Minimize Bad Debt and Increase Cash Flow
· Investigating and Resolving Queries
· Debtors Reconciliations
· Daily Cash Receipting with remittance advise
· Credit Notes & Journals Preparations and Applications
· Liaising with Client and 3rd Party's to resolve account dispute speedily
· Meeting KPA Targets
· Collections to Hand Over
· Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
· Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
· Grade 12 + with a Diploma in Credit Management
· At least 5-10 years’ experience as Corporate Credit Controller
· Strong understanding of credit control or accounts receivable management
· Must have managed a book value of R300m+ with various legal entities & Foreign currencies
· Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Other Accounting Software (MS Office, AX)
· Attention to Detail and High level of accuracy
