About the Role
As part of Powerfleet’s In Wearhouse division, the Enterprise Business Development Manager (In Warehouse) plays a pivotal role in managing and growing strategic relationships with enterprise customers across the United Kingdom. This role is instrumental in driving customer success, increasing revenue within existing accounts, and identifying new expansion opportunities aligned with evolving customer priorities.
Operating as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact, the Enterprise Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth by generating new business within existing accounts, identifying expansion opportunities, and deepening customer engagement. This role requires strong commercial acumen, the ability to navigate complex enterprise environments, and a collaborative mindset to deliver impactful, cross-functional solutions that support customer success and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage relationships with strategic accounts, serving as the primary liaison and trusted advisor.
- Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies to drive revenue, product adoption, and long-term value.
- Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within key accounts.
- Partner with customer stakeholders to understand their operational goals and align Powerfleet’s solutions to support efficiency, safety, and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders—including Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Technical Support—to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Monitor account health, track usage and adoption metrics, and proactively mitigate risks.
- Conduct executive business reviews and provide insights that support ongoing customer alignment and partnership growth.
- Maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive activity, and industry trends to inform account strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic account management, enterprise sales, or business development within a technology or SaaS environment (preferably telematics, IoT, fleet management, or logistics).
- Demonstrated success in managing large, complex customer relationships and delivering revenue growth.
- Proven ability to influence senior decision-makers and navigate enterprise buying cycles.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in building and executing long-term account plans that support customer outcomes and business goals.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to travel 20–30% to support customer engagements and industry events.
