About the Role
Powerfleet is seeking a driven and technically savvy Industrial Sales Engineer to join our team in Mexico City. This individual will play a critical role in expanding our footprint in the industrial sector by prospecting new clients, guiding them through the sales process, and ensuring the successful implementation of our safety and telemetry systems—especially within the forklift industry. This is a customer-facing role that blends technical expertise with commercial acumen, offering a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of innovation and industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities
Identify and engage new business opportunities in the industrial space, with a focus on forklift operations and safety solutions.
Lead technical discussions and product presentations to prospects, distributors, and end users to demonstrate value and align on business needs.
Manage the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting to post-implementation follow-up, ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
Coordinate project rollouts, including technical support during installation/start-up and oversight of administrative and documentation tasks.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with distribution partners and strategic accounts to drive continued growth.
Track and manage activities and opportunities using CRM systems; provide accurate sales forecasts and reports.
Collaborate with internal teams—including Product, Marketing, and Technical Support—to deliver integrated customer solutions and refine go-to-market strategies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 3 years of industrial B2B sales experience, ideally within the forklift or heavy equipment industry.
Proven ability to lead consultative sales discussions and build tailored solutions based on client needs.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with a high level of accountability.
Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
Must reside in Mexico City, Mexico.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with telemetry, asset tracking, or safety system solutions.
Experience managing distributor relationships and multi-site projects.
Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
